Laser Skin Resurfacing in Tampa, FL
Skin concerns like scarring acne, coarse or fine wrinkles on the skin, hyperpigmentation or small skin growths can make it difficult for some people to step out with confidence. These concerns can be a nightmare for some folks especially when it leaves an uneven skin tone on your face. A laser peel gives you smooth, youthful skin with uniform color and can help you regain your confidence. Dr. Soler performs all the procedures and treatments himself. He feels far too often the treatment result is the surgeon’s vision, not the patient’s goals. Dr. Soler serves patients in Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg and all the surrounding areas of Southwest FL.
How is laser skin resurfacing performed?
This procedure is performed in the office with no downtime. Patients are prescribed an EMLA cream to numb the treatment area. The pulsed laser heats the superficial layers of the skin in order to help promote collagen growth. This also helps in tightening the skin. Usually, the area treated is covered in ointment and healing is complete within a week or two. Slight redness or pink color may remain for about a month, but can last up to 6 months. Once the healing period of two weeks is over, you can begin wearing makeup.
Dr. Soler will tailor your laser skin resurfacing procedure to meet your overall needs. Dr. Soler may use personalized skincare products before and after laser skin resurfacing treatment. These skincare products and routines are customized to you and are chosen based on need, age, desired results and your individual healing process.
Recently, Dr. Soler gave a group talk on the various laser treatments options available in his office. The following movie is the actual presentation from his talk. Each topic has an F.A.Q section and Before/After photos.
